This looks like a trivia question and it has a practical consequence: the term you search changes which products you see, and on a US retailer three of the four terms show you a smaller catalog than the fourth.

The one place the terms genuinely diverge
A traditional clothes horse is a specific object: a hinged wooden frame of two or three panels that stands in an A or a zigzag. Some sellers still use the term precisely, and if that is what you want, wooden is the search term that finds it - the modern coated-steel racks that dominate the category are not clothes horses in the original sense at all.

Three square feet open, and the accordion frame collapses to something you can carry one-handed. At 4.5 lb it moves from bathroom to bedroom without a second thought.
The 32 lb rating is the lowest of the standing racks here, and it is honest rather than stingy: one washer load of shirts is nowhere near 32 lb wet, but a load of wet towels can be.

The current British word for a drying rack. It appears in US listings mostly on imported or UK-brand products. We do not use it in headings on this site because American shoppers do not search it.
